Valve stuck

Postby jaycin » Fri 10 Sep, 2010 13:16

I have an Anthony pool circa 1986. I'm having a problem with the valve that directs the filtered water to either return to the pool or to go to the drain. It is leaking badly to DRAIN as it loses water once I turn on the motor. I am attempting to replace the two o-rings on the valve but I can't pull the valve up and out to fix it. I have used max force with a crowbar but no luck.

Would appreciate your comments.

Is it possible for you to post some pictures so we can see what we're dealing with?

Rightly mentioned by swimnsaveusa. Posting some pictures will help examine the problem more closely.
