What is floc, clarifier, stabilizer, cyanuric acid,
algaecide, brightener, dichlor, sodium hypo,
sodium bisulfate, ....??

can you use phosphoric acid for a pool and how much would you use at any time?

You can. I had a situation once where I was flown to Bali to fix a pool up and when I got there, no chemicals were available. I used laundry bleach and phosphoric acid as nothing else was available. I would not recommend this practice though.

Pool was refilled. Tiler says water is irony; so put in a gallon of phosphoric acid. Pool turned dark Green. pool is rainwater so Ph is about 6.6 .
How long should this be left in; ? and should it be left in while adding soda ash, chlorine etc ?

Add chlorine lots and lots of it. I think the dark green is iron reacting to the chlorine. Once you satisfy the chlorine demand for the iron the water will come crystal almost immediately.

And the bad news is the phosphate will cause you more grief as it's like caffeine for algae.
