Pool was refilled. Tiler says water is irony; so put in a gallon of phosphoric acid. Pool turned dark Green. pool is rainwater so Ph is about 6.6 .
How long should this be left in; ? and should it be left in while adding soda ash, chlorine etc ?

Add chlorine lots and lots of it. I think the dark green is iron reacting to the chlorine. Once you satisfy the chlorine demand for the iron the water will come crystal almost immediately.

Re: phosphoric acid
And the bad news is the phosphate will cause you more grief as it's like caffeine for algae.
